You may download a free evaluation copy of the software here. The evaluation version contains all of the features of the purchased software. However, it will only track the first 100 messages each day.

Don't have a test mail server? Remember, SMTP Analyzer works with IIS SMTP as well as Exchange, so you can install the evaluation copy on any computer—including your desktop machine—that can run IIS. (Just send emails to your test machine via telnet.)
SMTP Analyzer is licensed per mail server. You will need to purchase one copy per mail server that you would like to monitor. (There are no licensing restrictions related to the number of domains or accounts hosted on the server.)
